Qigong is simple. “Qi” means energy and “gong” means to work with. In other words, Qigong means working with energy, and through movements and meditations we are able to direct our body’s internal energy so that it is in an optimal state. Everything is energy and it is constantly transforming, but the question is whether it is transforming for the best. Qigong helps the body maintain balance in these transformations whether it be in different seasons, emotional states or dealing with injury. The end result typically leads to an increase in health, energy and overall more positive attitude in life.
